Teaching, Storytelling, and Children's Programming

 

Along with singing, Miriam has a special talent for working with children and is

available to teach and run children's programming in various contexts. Miriam

has been a Jewish Educator for over ten years, and has run a variety of Children's

programs, including being Director of Limmud Bay Area's Teva Camp

(www.limmud.org) for the past three years, and has also run creative Children's

programming for Wilderness Torah's Festivals (www.wildernesstorah.org).

 

Miriam currently teaches Preschool at Gan Shalom Preschool

in Berkeley, where she works with beautiful 3-5 year old's teaching

them music, storytelling, Hebrew, and more. Miriam has also been

a Judaic and Hebrew school teacher at Congregation Beth El

in Berkeley for the past three years. Miriam  also has experience

teaching Elementary School,working as an experiential

educatorat Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon,

andhas worked in a variety of other

teaching environments. Miriam infuses

music, storytelling, Hebrew, and  passion 

into all of her teaching.  Miriam has a Master's Degree from Ben Gurion University, an Elementary California Teaching Credential, and a Certificate in Jewish Day School Education from Hebrew Union College Institute of Religion.
